Breast Cancer patient undergoes Immediate Reconstruction in Dartmouth, MA
This 49 year-old woman was diagnosed with Left Breast Cancer and underwent Bilateral Mastectomies with Immediate Reconstruction. She did not require radiation therapy. The surgery was done in 2 Stages: Stage 1: Tissue Expanders were inserted following bilateral mastectomies and expanded over the course of 4 months Stage 2: Tissue Expanders were exchanged for Allergan Smooth Cohesive Full Profile 605cc Silicone Implants The patient is considering Nipple Areola Grafting and/or Tattooing but to date this has not been completed. Post operative photographs were taken 3 months after the last procedure.More
