44 Year old woman undergones Breast Reconstruction in 3 Stages
This 44 year old woman was diagnosed with right breast cancer and underwent mastectomy with Immediate Reconstruction. She did not require radiation therapy. The surgery was done in 3 stages: Stage 1 - a tissue expander was inserted on the right side following the mastectomy. Stage 2 - The tissue expander was exchanged for an Silicone implant on the right and a left breast lift was performed to achieve symmetry bilaterally. Stage 3 - Nipple areola grafting to the right breast. The patient chose to undergo nipple areola tattooing. Post operative photographs were taken 3 months after the final procedure.More
